Having recently celebrated her second year with VALUE Virtual Assistants, she continues to make a mark in the healthcare field through her work with Atlantic Rehabilitation Center ( later referred as ARC). Balancing administrative duties and social media management, she has become an essential part of keeping the clinic’s online presence strong and consistent.
From Nursing to the Virtual World
VA Jann’s professional journey began in the field of nursing, but her career soon took a different path. After graduating, she entered the BPO industry but VA Jann knew what she wanted to do. She wanted something that aligned more closely with her background and passions. When the world shifted to remote work, she saw it as the perfect opportunity to redefine her career path.

“I transitioned into the virtual assistant world where I focus on maintaining my healthcare background and I also have my social media engagement as well at the same time. And since then, I've always been passionate and in love with both having my background in healthcare and then doing social media engagement and content creation.”
The pandemic gave her a chance to rethink her path. She wanted stability, flexibility, and a role that still touched lives. That moment came through a single social-media scroll.
“I learned about VALUE through Facebook, actually. So, I’m scrolling my phone at that time… I believe I just saw a post about VALUE and I’m looking for an agency at that time. You know, I wanted to have stability and have something really on my own as well. So, after I saw the post, then there’s like a link to apply. And then that’s actually the moment of magic when I met VALUE. After that, it’s just history.”
With that one decision, VA Jann opened a new chapter. One that let her combine her love for healthcare with her growing interest in social media engagement and content creation.
Making Each Day Count
At the Atlantic Rehabilitation Center (ARC), a healthcare clinic for physical therapy and rehabilitation, VA Jann supports three clinic branches by managing daily operations and maintaining the clinic’s online presence. She handles administrative tasks, coordinates communications, and keeps ARC’s social media pages active so the team can focus on patient care.
“My typical day starts with checking in with them…I also have a to-do list task, like from urgent, non-urgent. I just wanted to make sure that I covered everything at the end of the day because I need to send an end of the report to the client.”
Each day, she balances multiple priorities from answering emails, preparing reports, to overseeing updates across ARC’s online platforms. These tasks may seem routine, but they play a vital role in helping the clinic stay organized and connected with patients.
“The most rewarding thing for me is when I see there's progress every month, like from maybe 100 views to 500 views, until 1000 views... it's a small achievement, maybe for some, but for me, it's a big achievement already, since with the small step that I'm doing with my client, then that means that I'm contributing to the clients as well and improving their reputation.”
And those “small steps” truly added up. Under her support, ARC’s online visibility grew significantly. One campaign alone reached over 55,000 people, while the clinic’s website visitors began spending twice as much time exploring its pages. Calls and website inquiries also increased, showing how her consistent effort helped more patients discover and reach the clinic.
For VA Jann, every update and report is more than just a routine. It’s also proof that even the simplest tasks can make a real difference for the client.
Turning Challenges into Breakthroughs
Like many great journeys, VA Jann’s path has come with challenges that shaped her growth. One of her proudest milestones was leading the development of ARC’s website, a project that tested both her technical skills and her confidence.
“That’s a big jump for me to create, it’s like web development, something in me said that I couldn’t do it. But because of my client, I was able to overcome that fear and show them that fear with purpose or perseverance can help you overcome things.”
The project became a turning point, showing her that with persistence and client trust, she could handle responsibilities beyond her comfort zone.
Managing multiple clinic branches also brought its own set of hurdles. Coordinating with different teams and gathering content from various locations required patience, clear communication, and consistency.
“Not all people are very responsive. And you need to wait for their response… But eventually, the good thing about it, I was able to overcome it. Right now, they are on time. They’re responsive, whenever I need something. I just advise them that if they don’t send it right away, then there will be a delay on the task that I’ll be doing.”
Through these experiences, she learned the importance of initiative and resourcefulness, qualities that define her as a VA.
“Sometimes you really need to do your own research. You need to do everything on your own… If you have suggestions, you need to say it. And I’m glad that my client is accepting open suggestions. They’re open to that.”
A Team That Stays Behind You
While her work keeps her busy managing three clinic branches, VA Jann never feels alone. Coming from the corporate world where she was used to chatting with officemates, transitioning to a virtual setup felt isolating at first. But each check-in from VALUE VA reminded her that she was never truly alone
“You [VALUE VA] also keep my sanity intact, because I can feel that I still have a team behind me. And I appreciate VALUE in assisting me actually in a lot of things, especially in acquiring something very big purchase in my journey. And I actually thank VALUE that all of the necessary documents needed, emails from Pag-IBIG were sorted very quickly.”
As VA Jann shared in the VALUE VA community, she was able to accomplish something she once thought was out of reach: purchasing her own home. It is a milestone that represents not just stability, but the fulfillment of a dream she once thought was impossible. Her gratitude shines through her story, especially for the company that helped turn her dream into reality.
“Thank you VALUE ha, kase nangarap lang naman ako magkabahay na sarili pero dahil sayo natupad ‘yun. Thank you sa mabilis na response at pagbibigay ng requirements on time. For the next few years, hindi na kami magre-rent kase may sariling bahay na.”

Looking Forward with Purpose
After two years of continuous learning and growth, VA Jann envisions a future where she continues to evolve in the same field she loves.
“Of course, in the future, I’ll be given a chance. I can still see myself working from home, doing upskilling. I’ll be managing. I’ll further specialize in healthcare, maybe environment or digital marketing… Maybe I can see myself that what I’m doing right now is someone is already doing it for me, and we are growing in the clinic.”
Part of her vision includes mastering analytics and paid-ads management, skills that will allow her to bring even more value to her client.
“I would love to upskill my analytical and paid ads management skills, as well as maybe gain some sort of certificate for that… So, we don’t really need to outsource in the future.”
